Theory of Harmony

Why another theory of harmony?

The whole Internet is so full of wrong transcriptions of music, it really leaves one speechless. That´s probably because on the one hand only few musicians have a music theoretical background and on the other hand, most of the theories of harmony I´ve ever come across are less scientific and often simply wrong. Aggravating this situation, building up a music theory on a seven-step scale leads - as we will see later - to enharmonic ambiguities. The notation rules used in this theory of harmony closely correspond to the ones used at the Berklee College of Music. Causalities will be explained from the scratch so there is no need of having prior musical knowledge. Feedback and hints are welcome.
